Wanted to make a thread for things like... just sketching out Ai to get more familiar and experiment with other things and practicing for the big stuff like CGs and whatnot. Because of some of the talk of CGs I realized I really need to brush up on backgrounds, so I am relearning perspective helpers and stuff. Ended up doodling this: not quite the angle I was planning to do, oh well.

I like them!
However, my main issues are that, in the bed rough, her head looks really small compared to her body, and in the second one, her right shoulder (left from our point of view) seems to be sticking out more than it should be. If one is holding a gun with both hands next to each other, more likely than not the arms would me locked and held all the way out, moving the shoulders forward -- however, if she was aiming in that picture, her non-dominant hand would be supporting the grip of the gun from below, that arm's elbow would be against her torso, and her dominant arm would also be bent; the gun would be held much closer to her head. The only reason I say this is because I have fired (hand)guns in the past, and those seem to be the most natural firing stances -- and keep in mind, Ai is a firearms expert, so her stance would naturally be polished and efficient.
Other than that, though, I love love LOVE the coloring on that one!
